Responsibilities
What you'll do
- Braze is looking for a pioneer to fill a highly strategic, hybrid role within our Japan team. As the AI Decisioning Lead, you will own the end-to-end AI lifecycle for our customers in Japan. This is a unique, multi-disciplinary role combining sales (supporting the sales team as a technical SME) and post-sales (facilitating the forward-deployed delivery of AI Decisioning to contracted customers).
- You will be the ultimate subject matter expert on AI Decisioning capabilities, helping brands predict customer behavior, automate orchestration, and scale hyper-personalized engagement.
- This role is scoped as an Individual Contributor role to start, but could grow into a management role as the Braze’s AI Decisioning business grows in Japan and APAC.
- Sales responsibilities
- Visionary Pitching: Partner with the Sales Team to present and demo AI Decisioning capabilities and roadmap to prospective C-level executives (CMOs, CDOs, CTOs).
- Value Discovery: Conduct discovery workshops to identify top AI Decisioning use cases.
- AI Academy: Lead hands-on educational sessions with prospects and customers that give a strong understanding of current trends and applications of artificial intelligence in marketing.
- Customer Readiness Assessment: Assist sales team in identifying and mitigating program risks (e.g., business case, tech stack) before deals are signed
